Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education - Teaching

The Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education with an option in Teaching is designed to provide students with the essential skills and the comprehensive knowledge from multiple perspectives including biological and physical sciences, social and behavioral sciences, and humanities. The goal of the program is to prepare professional physical educators who will lead diverse individuals and populations towards healthy life and wellbeing of humankind through promotion of lifelong participation positive healthy practices. The degree prepares students to be knowledgeable, competent, and effective professionals committed to working in the fields of Physical Education, Rehabilitation, Physical Fitness, and Coaching for a diverse society. The program emphasizes excellence in teaching, scholarship, and practice on developing solutions for the issues of lifelong health, development, and physical adaptability.
