Grants and Scholarships
Federal Grants
Any learner who wishes to apply for federal grants must complete:
- The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for every school year enrolled.
- All admission requirements for their program.
Federal Pell Grant
A Federal Pell Grant Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. Federal Pell Grants are usually awarded only to undergraduate learners who have not earned a bachelor's or a professional degree.
Learners can receive the Federal Pell Grant for no more than 12 semesters or the equivalent. Learners will receive notification from the federal government if they are close to or have surpassed the limit via the Student Aid Report (SAR).
