Online Bachelor of Science in Political Science
Offered through ASU’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the online Bachelor of Science in Political Science is the study of how citizens interact with their governments and how governments at all levels formulate policies to serve their citizens.
This undergraduate degree focuses on a broad, rigorous curriculum that reflects contemporary geopolitics, economics and events. Courses will prepare you for increasingly sophisticated, interconnected and competitive marketplaces. During the progression of your degree program, you will find that the coursework combines theory with real-world problem solving, along with a classic, yet contemporary liberal arts education. Working with renowned faculty, you will learn analytical thinking and clear, persuasive communication.
ASU’s Bachelor of Science in Political Science offers a variety of courses and opportunities to study politics and policies at the local, national and global levels. As a BS student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, you will also be required to complete two Science and Society courses, which include courses such as Introduction to Global Health, Technology and Society, and Women and Health. Graduates of this program often progress to careers in law, politics, education, journalism, communications and public service, and many have gone on to work for major government and corporate institutions and have attended prestigious graduate schools, including Columbia, Duke, Harvard, Oxford, University of Chicago, and University of California-Los Angeles.
