Engineering applies scientific and mathematical theories to solve practical technical problems. The program boasts a three-pronged approach at this multifaceted industry: a certificate program, an associate degree program and a specialized engineering transfer program.

- There is also a specially designed engineering transfer program for students wishing to transfer to a four-year university in California.
What will I learn?
You will learn about the profession of engineering and its relation to the world around you, the different specialties of engineering, and the theories and principles needed to solve problems. You will learn how to properly use engineering drawing instruments and the properties of important engineering materials. Computer aided design programs that are standard to the industry will be implemented throughout the program. You will gain entry-level skills to help you narrow the field of engineering you would like to specialize in, as well as serve as a foundation for advancement in that field.
