MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools; is approved by The Commission on Accreditation of the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT); and recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for our graduates to pursue primary pathway certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance
As an MR technologist, you will be challenged to integrate your knowledge of the fundamental principles of MRI into the field of medicine. In order to stay current a successful technologist must be proficient in MR Physics & Instrumentation, MR Imaging & Procedures, Anatomy & Physiology, MR common pathology and clinical applications, and techniques for multiple procedures. MRI provides the ability to view cross-sectional images of anatomical regions in any arbitrary plane; students must learn to adapt and recognize anatomy and common pathology in cross section.
