Requirements for the B.S. in Nutrition and Food Sciences (Program Code: NTFS)
Note: All upper-division courses with an HSCI prefix or any course approved for upper-division Health Science substitutions require a grade of "C" (2.0) or better. Certain required courses also apply in the university's general education program.
In order to receive the Verification Statement from the DPD, graduates must have an overall GPA of 2.8 or higher; and must receive a grade of B- or higher in the 300 and 400-level DPD courses. This Verification Statement is required for dietary internship or supervised-practice program as well as to take the DTR exam.
