Economics and Finance (Joint Honours)
This programme enables you to benefit from the teaching expertise in the department, provided by tutors from both Economics and Finance. You will study how economics and financial decisions affect organisations and their future successes. By gaining knowledge of financial and management accounting, complemented by the study of economics from the viewpoint of consumers, workers, industry, commerce and government, you will be able to utilise this breadth of knowledge when deciding on your career path. This programme is ideal if you aspire to a future career in management and finance-related fields, as skills in both areas are required. This course has a common first year with BA (Hons) Economics and Banking, meaning students have the flexibility to transfer between courses at the end of the first year.
