Effects Artist
Students interested in visual effects integrate live-action images and CG elements to create believable, photorealistic imagery and environments. Project requirements range from photorealistic to abstract forms of expression. During their study, students are responsible for the design and integration of digital sets, propos, effects and characters. These work areas encompass the planning of effect scenes, previsualization, set supervision, the recording and editing of live-action material, CG creation, compositing and finishing. As aspiring Effect Artists, they are assigned to work on projects as part of the subject area Animation, often collaborating with other specializations, sometimes also within the framework of a third-party project for external clients.
