The goal is to help you develop a combination of clinical, administrative, communication, lab, business and technical skills. Courses include Clerical Accounting, Medical Law & Ethics, and Electronic Medical Records. After completing the program, students will qualify to sit for the AAMA Medical Assisting Certification exam.

You will likely handle administrative tasks, including updating patient records and scheduling appointments, as well as clinical duties, such as measuring and recording patients’ vital signs and prepping them for exams.
