Bachelor of Technology (Information Technology)(Hons)(BTech(IT)(Hons)) and Professional Bachelor of Computer Technology (PBCT) programmes are well recognised degrees that have been offered in similar fashion in universities in UK and Europe for those who have been working in the field related to computer and information technology. The work experiences and professional activities are counted as part of learning to the fulfilment of the bachelor degree.
The differences between the BTech (IT) and PBCT are:
- BTech (IT) is MQA accredited and is longer in duration with the inclusion of MQA and university compulsory subjects.
- PBCT is ideal for those interested to gain the same level of proficiency within a shorter duration.
