The Technical Medicine master's programme, (formarly named Physico-Technical Medicine), offered  by the Medical Faculty of the Albert Ludwigs University in Freiburg in close cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical and Medical Engineering of Furtwangen University, offers doctors the opportunity to broaden their qualifications while working. This blended learning degree combines online learning opportunities with face-to-face teaching. Graduates are awarded an internationally-recognized MSc degree from the Albert Ludwigs University in Freiburg. The degree is normally obtained in 5 semesters, however an accelerated track is possible upon accreditation of relevant professional experience.
