The MSc Applied Bioscience Skills for Industry has been developed by the University in consultation with local and national employers involved in the biotechnology and life sciences sector. While the majority of fundamental laboratory skills are common across many scientific sectors, a skills gap has been identified in the application of these techniques and in the interpretation and critical appraisal of data obtained using different research methods which this Masters programme aims to address.
