This exciting and award-winning BA (Hons) Scottish Cultural Studies degree course has the cultural identity of the Highlands and Islands and its communities at its heart.
You will be introduced to the broad cultural issues affecting the region, set in the context of Scotland, the British Isles, the North Atlantic Rim and further afield. In later years of the course, you will be able to focus on specific aspects of culture including archaeology, music and literature.
Your research skills will be refined throughout the course, and will therefore prove particularly useful to those students who wish to progress their studies further.
