Registered Veterinary Technician
The Veterinary Technology Program is a two‐semester program, held weekday evenings. One of its goals is to provide the educational requirements which, in conjunction with the required clinical practice experience, will qualify veterinary assistants to take the Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) licensing exam under the Alternate Route category.
An additional goal of the program is to provide to those students, without any clinical veterinary experience, the knowledge and skills to help them gain entrance into the workforce as a veterinary assistant.
