Course description:

Physical Education is a course that lasts three years (six semesters) and is available in a full-time system (15 weeks of teaching in each semester) or in a part-time system.
The main goal of Physical Education studies is to educate qualified professionals who will have a broad theoretical knowledge relating to the science of physical culture as well as practical skills of solving problems in the fields of physical education, sport and health promotion.
The knowledge of pedagogy, psychology, philosophy, sociology and medicine will allow our graduates to become excellent educators who will be able to support the development of their pupils.
The curriculum of Physical Education studies meets the highest educational standards, that is why it is well adapted to the rapidly changing requirements of the educational market.
We participate in the implementation of the Bologna Process and become part of the European system of higher education by providing a high level of education in its European dimension.
The ECTS scoring system approved by our University makes it possible to cooperate with domestic and foreign universities within education and exchange of students.
Our students have the opportunity to obtain a specialization as of sport instructor and 2nd class trainer during a course organized by our University as well as a certificate of a referee.
Students can acively participate in the Academic Sports Association and in this way represent the University in sports competitions at the central level. The best students can apply for the Rector’s scholarship. It is also possibile to apply for a scholarship from the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding achievements in sports.
