The M.B.A. program at Eastern Mediterranean University is constantly evolving and changing to reflect the educational needs of management practitioners in today's dynamic global economy, characterized by multi-national corporations and the need for managers who are also leaders in the field. Individuals educated in critical as well as creative thinking, entrepreneurship and intra-preneurship, ethical action and corporate responsibility and with the ability to make decisions supported by intuition as well as management information systems are now required all over the world. The M.B.A. program seeks to develop in its students the qualities of character required to meet contemporary economic challenges: responsible conduct, strong interpersonal skills, versatility, and organizational initiative through teamwork. The program is designed to be flexible, allowing for curriculum changes to meet new developments and the individualized requirements of students. Specific projects and case studies are assigned to student teams, to promote teamwork, creativity and innovation, and the development of communication and problem-solving skills.
Admission Requirements
Applicants are expected to satisfy general admission requirements of the Institute. In general, students who wish to pursue a given graduate program in the Faculty of Business and Economics, but have completed a BA/BS in another field may be admitted to the program, subject to successfully completing selected prerequisite courses from the related department.
