This Master’s considers how globalisation impacts on (both national as well as local) development and poverty alleviation in low and middle-income countries, and how this impact is mediated by development actors (at both government and civil society level). Students are trained to recognise the opportunities presented by globalisation, and to assess and remedy the risks and threats involved.
