With a PhD in Horticulture Studies at University of Québec at Montreal (UQAM) you will have acquired the necessary skills for managerial level expertise in such fields as landscape architecture, sports turf management, landscape design, plant propagation, urban ecology and nursery management, coupled with a solid grounding in environmental conservation and utilization.
phd students: You will typically have engaged in advanced research in the fields of plant breeding and genetics, plant pathology, soil and water sciences, crop physiology and production, weed science and applied ecology.
