Further study will have engaged you with, for example, Child Language Acquisition, Phonetics, Semantics, Sociolinguistics, Language, Gender and Sexuality, Pragmatics and Psycholinguistics.
masters students: You will have covered all aspects of theoretical linguistics and the history, structure and variety of the English language, for example, Typical course modules will have included Phonetics and Phonology, Grammatical Theory, Linguistic Field Methods, Sociolinguistics and Psycholinguistics.
