Your B.A. in Art History at the University College London will have given you a solid grounding in engaging with visuality in multi-faceted ways. You will have developed a critical understanding of the aesthetics, production, patronage and consumption of art, across diverse cultures and time periods and geographies, along with multiple approaches and methodologies.
phd students: You will typically have completed at least thirty hours of coursework in addition to the M.A. degree, probably a minimum of five graduate seminars in Ancient; Medieval to Early Modern and a dissertation colloquium, written and oral.
