With a Masters in Archaeology at the Stockholm University you will have received a solid grounding in human development from hominids to modernity and gained an understanding of the prehistory and early history of Europe, acquired a global perspective on the origins of the human species and world civilisations, and a focus on Eurasia. You will have participated in field work and excavations.
masters students: As an MA graduate you will possess an advanced theoretical and practical grounding necessary for independent research in archaeology and will be equipped with a broad critical understanding of the potential and limitations of different kinds of archaeological evidence. You will also typically have developed your archaeological knowledge and research.
