Library Degree
Offered in conjunction with the Online Teacher Librarian Services Credential, this online program enables the candidate to earn both the Master of Arts in Education: School Librarianship and the credential by completing three courses beyond the requirements for the credential alone.* The graduate library degree enhances the credential with educational coursework that combines library services and resources with student, teacher, and classroom needs.
By understanding the curriculum foundations, history, and psychological, philosophical, and ethical issues relevant to today’s student bodies, the librarian services teacher can better facilitate the education process and advance the goals of the California school system.
