Become a Hospitality Professional
Hospitality is a thriving industry across the country, particularly in Arizona and across the Southwest. Hospitality management professionals contribute to the overall success of an establishment, typically a hotel or restaurant, by overseeing day-to-day operations and providing excellent customer service. Grand Canyon University's (GCU) Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management helps prepare you to compete for entry-level management positions in the hospitality industry that can lead to eventual leadership positions in the field.
The bachelors in hospitality management, offered through GCU’s Colangelo College of Business, features a core of major courses. In the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program, GCU provides you access to its hotel and golf course, so you can gain the skills needed for industry success. This allows for hands-on learning experiences, including the opportunity to see firsthand how a hotel is managed. You are required to accumulate a set number of hours of paid or unpaid experience in the hospitality industry during your time in the program to meet graduation requirements.
