Master of Arts in Education/Secondary Teacher Education

Share your love of learning – and impact our next generation of leaders – as a high school (single subject) teacher. Earn a Master of Arts in Education/Secondary Teacher Education (MAEd/TED-S) through a curriculum that not only comes with a high level of student support, but could also prepare you for the edTPA assessment.

This graduate degree program is intended for students with no prior teaching experience. The guiding philosophy of the MAEd/TED-S is to build upon your existing skills and knowledge. To help you become a confident and effective classroom teacher, you’ll add curriculum, instructional and assessment skill sets to your area of expertise. Blending academic theory with relevant coursework, field experiences and student teaching, our curriculum includes all the essential elements required to help you prepare for a career in teaching.
