Gain the skills you need to help children succeed in school. Our Bachelor of Science in Education/Early Childhood Education will help prepare you — through courses that cover curriculum development and child learning — for shaping the academic, social and cognitive skills of children in pre-K through grade three.
Our curriculum aligns with the National Association for the Education of Young Children© (NAEYC) and Interstate Teaching Assessment and Support Consortium’s (InTASC) model core teaching standards and is designed for those with no prior teaching experience. The program requires you to complete field experiences and student teaching and will help prepare you for becoming an early childhood educator, although licensure requirements may vary by state.
