Office Administration - Office Management A.A.S.
The Office Administration - Office Management program is designed to give students training in the latest office equipment and procedures as well as a thorough understanding of managing staff and resources within an office environment (whether it's in the occupation of office manager, supervisor, team leader, etc.). The program emphasizes learning a variety of computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook, which assist managers in compiling, retrieving, organizing and analyzing data. Students are well prepared to take New York State Civil Service examinations as well as Microsoft Office specialty certification exams upon graduating. Many courses within this program are offered online. Online courses prepare students for a world of continuous learning and help them stay up-to-date with their skills after they graduate. Faculty who teach online Office Administration courses have many years of experience and understand the value of feeling comfortable in an online atmosphere. The same faculty are also on campus to assist students weekly.
