Agricultural Mechanics Certificate
Two programs are offered in Agricultural Mechanics. The first is an A.O.S. program in Agricultural Mechanics. It is a two-year program consisting almost entirely of courses in mechanics and agriculture. The curriculum is best suited to students who intend to find immediate employment in their field or return to the home farm. The student must choose to minor (15 credits) in agricultural business, auto mechanics, animal science, agronomy, or horticulture. However, students who intend to continue their education by transferring to a four-year academic institution would be better prepared by following theA.A.S. degree program in Agricultural Engineering. The latter curriculum includes the liberal arts and sciences required to transfer to a four-year college.
