PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT
As a Casa Loma College trained Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will find immediate career opportunities. You will be well equipped, skilled and eligible to apply for a state license. Doors will open to you in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted-living facilities, public schools, home health-care, rehabilitation centers and in health and wellness programs. You will discover a high demand for Physical Therapist Assistants. If this sounds like a career path you want, let me introduce you to our newest program. The program director is David Pevsner, PT, DPT. Dr. Pevsner has many years of experience in the clinical setting and several years of experience working with other Physical Therapist Assistant educational programs. PTAs work under the direction and supervision of Physical Therapists (PTs) and are the only members of the health care community besides PTs qualified and licensed to provide physical therapy. The field of physical therapy is growing and responding to the changing needs of the population and will continue to be a rewarding and satisfying profession in the future.
