M.HRM (Hons) Human Resource Management
This is a four-year integrated undergraduate Masters course. Whilst the first three years are broadly in common with the BA (Hons) Human
Resource Management, you gradually integrate your undergraduate studies with organisational experience before developing higher-level, postgraduate skills and competencies. On completion of the programme, you will graduate with a Masters level degree in Human Resource Management; you will also receive an advanced award from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) – the premier qualification for HR professionals. Your first year will introduce you to key areas in the profession and develop your business knowledge, sharing lectures with other business students. In the second and third years, your studies specialise in human resource management and there are opportunities to gain industrial experience through work-based learning via the HRM Industrial Experience units. The Masters level units in your fourth year are designed to develop highly valued, transferable skills such as communication, data analysis and project management, whilst your studies focus on strategic areas of human resource management, leadership and management.
