MA Education – Elementary/Middle/Art Certification

Interested in becoming a teacher, but don’t have certification? Maryville University’s Masters of Arts in Education with Initial Teaching Certification is designed for individuals like you who have earned a bachelor’s degree in another field and now want to become a teacher. Building on your undergraduate content, the program provides you with individualized attention so you can move toward a career that’s exactly right for you. The program requires full-time daytime participation observing classroom teaching situations alongside our education professors and thirty credits of graduate coursework. Students are given the option of choosing early childhood/elementary, elementary, middle school, or art certification.
