The Master in Production and Operations Management enables engineers to analyse, understand, and manage operations of a manufacturing or service organization, especially in a global context. The program focuses on production processes, information technology, logistics, and human factors. Participants are qualified to optimize the the efficiency of value-added processes within the operation of production and service systems.

China is becoming more and more important in the context of global manufacturing. Therefore, one of the Engineering Modules of the Master Program Production and Operations Management is held at the KIT China Branch in cooperation with the Global Advanced Manufacturing Institute (GAMI) 

The content of the Master Program is divided into 10 modules:

5 Engineering Modules addressing technological topics, and 5 Management Modules providing general leadership know-how.
