A PhD in Agribusiness at the The University Wisconsin-Madison will focus on marketing, finance and people management, the technology of agribusiness, and receive a solid grounding in accounting, marketing research and economics which will prepare you for a management position which is consumer-focused and calls on commercial awareness and innovation in an agribusiness context. The course is also ideally suited for graduate studies.
phd students: You will have engaged in research in such key areas as consumer behaviour in food marks, derivatives, commodity trading and risk management, food and fibre supply chain management, international agricultural trade and policy and strategic marketing by food retailers.
