Master of Science in Energy Studies
PROGRAMME BRIEF
The Master of Science Energy Studies programme normally requires one year of full-time study. Recognising the need both within Brunei and internationally, the programme exists to meet the demand for professionals trained at a high level in the discipline of Energy Studies. The programme is a taught course in which the students study six modules selected from a suite of modules covering various aspects of Energy studies including: Solar Energy; Wind Energy; Energy derived from Bio-Mass; Generation and Utilisation of Energy; Materials in Energy and a range of others. In addition a project is undertaken throughout the year in an energy-related area.
DURATION OF STUDY
Full time: 12-24 months Part time: 12-48 months
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
• At least a lower second class honours Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or in a relevant area from a recognised university;
• Applicants whose native tongue is not English should submit evidence of English proficiency (minimum score of 550 for TOEFL, 6.0 for IELTS, credit 6 in GCE 'O' Level Examination or grade C in IGSCE English as a second language)
