B.Sc. Telecommunications and Networking Technology
The world today cannot operate without computer networks, whether personal wired networks, office wireless networks, or the Internet. Regardless of the technology used in designing the network, information should travel across it in a secured and efficient manner. The aim of the Telecommunications and Networking Technology major is to provide the students with the right expertise to design, troubleshoot, implement and manage wired and wireless networking systems. AUM students will be trained for direct entry into the Telecommunication and networking profession and will be prepared for graduate studies as well.

Several years after graduation, Telecommunication and Networking Technology (TNT) students will be :

Career Opportunities
To industry, the Telecommunication and Networking Technology (TNT) program produces practitioner-oriented information technology professionals and future leaders who can immediately contribute to problem solving and business results through application of information technology. They actively partners with industry through engagement that both contribute to life-long learning as well as the discovery of application of information technology solutions to business needs. Bachelor of Science BS graduates typically are employed as network analysts, network engineers, network support specialists, and Local Area Network (LAN) administrators or consultants. Future advancement can lead to positions in management, or as advanced technical specialists. Some students continue their studies to pursue graduate degrees.
