B.Sc. Information Systems Technology

Information Systems and Technology program aims at equipping its graduates with an adequate combination of knowledge and practical expertise. Students will learn how organizations use computer systems and procedures, and how to integrate information technology into business models and business processes, thus helping organizations operate more efficiently while better meeting their business objectives. Students will combine business practices with programming, software design, project management, and databases. Graduates with such skills shall bring to any organization necessary expertise to compete in today’s market.

Several years after graduation, Information Systems Technology (IST) students will be :

Career Opportunities

To industry, the IST program produces practitioner-oriented information technology professionals and future leaders who can immediately contribute to problem solving and business results through application of information technology. They actively partner with industry through engagement that both contribute to life-long learning as well as the discovery of application of information technology solutions to business needs. Graduates typically are employed as application developers, consultants, database administrators, IT analysts, programmer/analysts, project managers, software developers, software engineers, and web developers.
