Program Overview
The Bachelor program in Security and Strategic Studies is offered at the American University in the Emirates (AUE) is a focused interdisciplinary bachelor degree program. It seeks to identify and address the emerging strategic challenge, and intends to prepare its students for a variety of career in academic, research, military, security and international affairs.
The program’s curriculum and standard are structured in a way to provide graduate student with a broad knowledge of social sciences and historical methodologies as well as direct logics relating to security issues and international relations.
The Bachelor in Security and Strategic Studies program develops a competent understanding of the key economic, political, strategic, cultural, legal and organizational features of international life and the factors involved in conflict resolution. Learners gain a general understanding of economic, legal, social, political, strategic, cultural and organizational trends, and also have the opportunity to have an in depth knowledge of Security and Strategic studies, diplomacy, economy and legal studies.
