masters students: You will typically have completed a Master’s in applied mathematics involving the use of analytical and computational mathematics to solve problems in the real world, based on modelling, analysis and scientific computing, and engaged in a multidisciplinary mathematics project directly related to the life sciences, physical sciences and engineering, and received training in the tools of applied mathematics, including ordinary and partial differential equations, asymptotic and perturbation methods, numerical analysis and scientific computing.
