Later you will have focused on the investigation of teaching and curriculum in relation to children’s learning, curriculum, pedagogy and research together with practical application in schools.
phd students: You will typically have an academic background in education and/or be an education professional working in the fields of education policy, curriculum and assessment/examinations across different sectors in education (pre-school, primary, post-primary, adult and further education) in a life-long learning context. Your Doctorate program will typically involve taught modules in years 1, 2 and 3 as well as supervised research on the thesis for the duration of the degree.
