| This is an introductory course in entrepreneurship. It introduces the students to the widespread operations of a hospitality business. The course covers all the essentials of starting a business - from the generation of ideas to the actual operations. Students will develop a business plan that a bank would accept and finance. Emphasis is placed on the realism and completeness of the business plan. Students gain practical experience in dealing with authorities, associations and other institutions and contact potential business partners in hospitality. Students meet guest speakers and visit companies. |
