You will explore American literature and history and learn the core skills required to take an interdisciplinary perspective on the whole range of the American experience, including sociology, the arts and many other areas. There will be a strong emphasis on a multicultural perspective. The course is ideally suited for further graduate study.
masters students: As a Master of Arts in Masters you will be thoroughly prepared for further studies in discipline-based Ph.D. programs with specialization in, for example, professional programs like law and education, public policy and administration, social work, international relations, and in a wide range of agencies and organizations.
