Visitors Made of Felt - [Tue, 18 Feb 2014 13:47:00 -0000 ] Some additions were made to the sculptures in the Cast Collection of Ancient Sculpture at Freie Universität Berlin, but not ones made of marble or plaster. Recently, the artist Dorothea Fischbeck began staging figures made of felt among the casts of ancient statues. The felt figures are placed strategically as viewers of individual sculptures and thus draw the attention of visitors to particular statues. The felt visitors will be on display until March 16, 2014, from Thursdays to Sundays, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. ...
