The Civil engineer’s sphere of interest includes motorways and railways, buildings and structures, foundations, water and wastewater treatment plants, airports, harbour transport facilities, road systems, power generation facilities and tunnels.
With a PhD in Civil Engineering at Lanzhou Jiaotong University you will have engaged with a variety of core and optional modules including Civil Engineering Design Projects, Engineering Mathematics and Mechanics, an Introduction to Structural Analysis and Design,Ground Engineering, Structural Analysis and Design and Design and Construction Projects phd students: you will have engaged in advanced study and research in such areas as Environmental chemistry, Environmental fluid mechanics and coastal engineering, Materials and structures and Transportation.
