The Clinic Assistant Training Course has been designed to provide systematised training to the staff currently working in medical clinics throughout Malaysia.
The course has been developed jointly by the Academy of Family Physicians Malaysia ( AFPM ) and MAHSA to improve the standards and quality of the healthcare delivery process to improve the standards and quality of the healthcare delivery process and to upgrade the status of the staff currently working in the medical clinis. The course will meet the requirements of the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act (1998) which states “All assistants to registered medical practitioner or register dental practitioner in any private medical clinic or private dental clinic shall possess skills and experience assigned to assists specified tasks.”
The program will be delivered by recognised professional educators from the Faculty of Nursing, English Department, Information Technology Department ( IT ) of MAHSA University and Family Physicians from the Academy of Family Physicians Malaysia (AFPM).
All medical practitioners should encourage their staff to attend this course for their career enhancement and job satisfaction.
Beside medical practitioners recommendation, anyone who are interested (age between 16 to 50 years old) with / without clinical experiences, with / without PMR / SPM qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
