	The MA in Sign Language Interpreting is a two-year program which aims to train professional mediators between the deaf and hearing communities. Through a combination of critical reflection, practice, and placement opportunities, the program develops students’ socio-cultural knowledge and the linguistic/cognitive skills required to facilitate the deaf community’s access to public services and participation in the Information and Knowledge Society on a par with their hearing counterparts.
